Vredestein Aventura Black Brown
The Dutch Apollo-Vredestein enters the gravel market with the Aventura, which is available in black and skinwall in two sizes: 700c x 38 mm (410 grams) and 700c x 44 mm (450 grams). In the search for the ideal compromise between a lot of grip, low rolling resistance, a lot of puncture protection and a long lifespan, Vredestein opted for a 120 TPI carcass, an attractive profile of almost triangular, low studs and two different rubber mixtures. There is a slightly harder type of rubber in the center of the tire for more kilometers, the shoulder studs are made of a lighter rubber mixture to provide more grip in corners. Here too, of course, a tubeless ready construction. To prevent damage to the sidewalls of the tire, the shoulder studs were positioned in such a way that the outer studs, viewed from above, are wider than the sidewall of the tire. The advantage of this is that in the event of a side impact, the side bump hits the obstacle first, thus protecting the sidewall of the tire from damage. The 38 mm version of the strap will cost 52.95 euros, the 44 mm wide strap is five euros more expensive.
