Do you want an all-round racing tire that rolls very well, is very light, but also offers grip in almost all situations? The ASPEN is MAXXIS 'answer to this requirement profile. In the middle of the tread, narrow, slightly angled lamellar studs alternate with small, angled block studs. They thus redefine the ideal combination of a lot of traction and easy rolling. The side tunnels run in groups of two from the outside to the inside when viewed in the direction of travel. This special arrangement brings significantly more grip in curves. Despite the all-round stud height of over 3mm and good puncture protection, the weight is kept within limits. The ASPEN impresses with the best performance such as - handling, traction and grip - which is far above that of competitive models.

Wide Trail Casing (WT)
This special carcass construction optimizes the tread layout and tire shape on today's modern wider rims. Traditional tires are developed for narrow rims and are too angular in shape on wide rims and therefore not exactly optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work excellently on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 40 mm.

Tubeless Ready (TR)
tube tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube , the risk of a breakdown also decreases. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for assembly with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tires. The bead of the TR tire is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tube tire. As a result, the tube free assembly is successful on all rims with standard dimensions when you first inflate them and with little liquid. Normal MAXXIS MTB tires, like tires from other manufacturers, can also be fitted with a tubeless sealant because the carcass fabric is very dense.
Only the new MAXXIS TR models are officially approved for tubeless assembly and guaranteed by MAXXIS. The tubeless assembly of other models is at your own risk.

Note: We strictly advise against the use of ammonia-containing sealing milk. Ammonia has been proven to attack the carcass and, depending on the amount used, can weaken it by up to 30% after just a few months.

EXO protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, light and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.

DualCompound
Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. Maxxis plans the arrangement of the compounds according to the desired properties of the tires.
